Degree programmes
Our department offers altogether five study courses, two bachelor programmes and three master programmes.
Bachelor of Science "Landscape Management and Nature Conservation"
A sustainable, environmental sound development of land use is a key challenge for the twenty-first century. This requires a differentiated prospective land use management in the local and global context. To accomplish this task including the implementation throughout all areas of daily life, committed specialists are required with expert knowledge in biology, landscape ecology and landscape planning. Besides the proficiency in various fields of land use it is also necessary that they gained basic knowledge in economy, environmental politics and social sciences. We responded to an up-coming demand and by starting the study programme âLandscape Management and Nature Conservationâ in 1993 we became pioneers in Germany for this educational profile.
