Application procedure

If there is an interinstitutional agreement between your home university and the EUSD, your International Office has to officially nominate you in the first step. If you come to us as a free mover, please contact us directly at international@hnee.de.

You will receive an application form from us together with a list of documents to be submitted. Both must be completed, signed and submitted via e-mail by the application deadline.

Deadline summer term: 31.10.

Deadline winter term: 31.05.

After we received the complete application documents, we will send you the contact details of the relevant programme coordinator. With this person you can discuss and sign your Learning Agreement.

As soon as we also received the Learning Agreement signed by all parties, all your documents will be forwarded to the Student Service Department. After final processing, the admission as an exchange student will be issued and sent to you via e-mail.

Following your successful admission you will be contacted by our Welcome Centre. The Welcome Centre will help you and, if requested, assign you a buddy - a student tutor. You will also receive further information about our Introduction Event for new students and other events.
