At the end of September, the President of the Kumasi Technical University (Ghana) (Vice Chancellor ING. Professor Osei-Wusu Achaw) and Dr. Addo Koranteng, Head of the Center for Research Development & Technology Incubation (CRDTI) and Senior Research Fellow at the Institute of Research Innovation and Development (IRID) were guests in Eberswalde for 2 weeks.

The visit took place in the framework of the ERASMUS+ KA107 exchange programme. The aim of the visit is to get to know each other better, to explore the possibilities of cooperation and to discuss future collaboration.

Organized and supervised by the International Office, the guests from Ghana gained a variety of insights into the structure, organization and activities of the university, from the welcome by the new president and the vice president for research and transfer, to the quality and sustainability management of the university and the presentation of individual projects.

The Dean of FB1, Prof. Dr. Tobias Cremer, is confident that on this basis a closer cooperation between the two universities can develop in the coming years and that both partners can benefit from the competences and skills of the other.
